Tomorrow’s technology for your community….

today.

Areas of Practice

Telehealth / telemedicine

eCare is teaming up with national technology providers to use video conferencing in rural areas to extend the treatment of opioid treatment beyond where medical personnel can physically travel by using video conferencing. This technology will be able to connect physicians, counselors, and other health care workers to clinics in rural areas to provide treatment to patients who cannot travel to the city. Now, with expanded access through technology, patients needing critical care will be able to receive the same treatment in their hometown as they would in the larger cities. Federal grant assistance is available upon request.

E-Learning

eCare has been assisting schools in rural America infuse video conferencing and classroom technology for over 20 years using available federal grant funding.  This technology allows schools in rural America to offer the same classroom and remote learning capabilities as urban areas.

The same technology can also be used in higher education to offer remote learning to rural students as well as connect universities and community colleges to rural schools to offer dual enrollment and advanced placement courses.

School Safety

eCare has developed school safety solutions specifically for K12 rural schools to integrate school safety products such as surveillance cameras, door access control, emergency notification systems, intercom, digital signage, integration with classroom technology.  This approach prevents the duplication of effort and expense, provides access to multiple funding sources, and provides an ecosystem that is effective and sustainable, including little to no on-going licenses or fees.

Opioid Treatment Programs / Mental Health

eCare is committed to combating the national opioid crises. Although many programs have been implemented on a national level to help manage opioid abuse, Alabama remains the number one state in the nation for opioid utilization. The Southeast Region of the United States is the national hotspot for opioid misuse and abuse. eCare has worked with the Alabama Department of Mental Health to bring much needed treatment opportunities to rural areas of the state through federal grant opportunities. Many federal programs allow expanded coverage for opioid treatment specialization. eCare is constantly looking for grant opportunities to expand coverage through technology. eCare can help you determine a program that is best suited for your program.

Technology support

Many companies say they can help you with technology, only to disconnect when you need support after your implementation. eCare is committed to customer support and product training so that your staff is equipped with the knowledge and power to overcome your program challenges. Our founders and partners have decades of experience so that you can rest assured your program will maintain a seamless transition as you step into the next technology phase.
